LOST LOVE ARCHIVE MEDAL

Georgia found her father’s Air Force Cross when he died along with the cuff-links given to him by the King.  She knew about the medal as a child but the war wasn’t really discussed as she was growing up. Her memory that her father received monogrammed cuff-links alongside his medal has stayed with her throughout her life, even though they are not sure it is necessarily true.

After the Second World War her father thought the Royal Air Force would close down and so took a job as a travelling rep.  He sold different medical products from Rose-hip syrup to Liver salts.  She remembers him after he retired always having new cars (16 in as many years).  She was left with a mortgage for them when he died.
